Terms of Service

By registering for, accessing, or using CPASS services (the "Services"), you enter into a binding agreement with CPASS.ai ("CPASS," "we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

If you use CPASS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

CPASS is verified-skills infrastructure. We help workers turn real work evidence — narratives, CVs, and future platform activity — into portable, standards-backed proof of capability through a Career Passport (CPID).

CPASS is not a job board, recruitment marketplace, or employer of record. Viewers who open a shared passport URL assess skills and trust signals; any hiring or engagement happens outside CPASS unless we explicitly state otherwise in a future product.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to use CPASS, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction if higher. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security or abuse risk.

• One person per worker account unless we approve a team or institutional arrangement.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not share login credentials or sell access to your account.

You remain the authority over skills published on your passport. CPASS may propose skills from evidence you submit; nothing is published as confirmed until you accept it.

Public passport URLs display only the information you choose to share. We strip direct contact details and internal identifiers from public views as described in our Privacy Policy.

Trust scores and tiers reflect the sources available at the time of calculation. MVP tiers may rely on self-assessment and AI mapping — not employer or institutional attestation unless clearly labeled.

You agree not to misuse CPASS or harm other users, viewers, or our systems.

• Do not submit false, misleading, or impersonated evidence.
• Do not scrape, reverse engineer, or overload our APIs or interfaces.
• Do not upload malware, spam, or unlawful content.
• Do not harass other users or attempt to bypass security controls.

CPASS uses automated systems to extract and map skills from evidence you provide. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect. You must review proposed skills before confirming them.

Confirmed skills in MVP are labeled as AI-mapped and worker-confirmed. They do not represent independent verification by CPASS, employers, or training institutions unless a future attestation feature explicitly says so.

CPASS retains all rights in the platform, brand, software, and documentation. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant CPASS a limited license to host, process, display, and improve the Services using that content.

You may share your public passport link freely. You may not use CPASS trademarks or imply endorsement without written permission.

The Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. CPASS does not guarantee employment outcomes, hiring decisions, or accuracy of third-party interpretations of your passport.

To the maximum extent allowed, CPASS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. When we make material updates, we will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

If you disagree with updated Terms, stop using the Services and close your account.
